List of Cool Things to Do in Phoenix
The first thing in my list of cool things to do in Phoenix is First Friday Art Walk. One the first Friday of every month, Phoenix transforms itself. Thousands take over the streets for art, culture, and the bizarre. The event dates back to 1992. It has grown to one of the largest self-guided art walks in the United States of America. Roosevelt Row, Grand Avenue, Downtown, Midtown, and uptown is where it’s all happening, and in this event, local artists showcase their artworks.
The press is one of the larger Coffee Roasters here in Phoenix. They have a bunch of locations all around downtown Phoenix, but the one is like in the heart of downtown right off Central Avenue. I love this store, it’s beautiful. You will just love how the stores put together you guys are gonna love it. Also, the people here are incredible, and you will always have great conversations. They always serve the best coffee. It is definitely a spot to go if you are ever in Phoenix. So it is really one of the cool things to do in Phoenix.
The Welcome diner is a restaurant in downtown Phoenix with a rich history. Robert Young, the landowner, started the restaurant in the 80s and based it off the old-school Valentine diner. It is probably one of the very early examples of outside dining, which right now is Willie flourishing in Phoenix. The restaurant is not only providing foods such as mac and cheese biscuits and gravy fries, but it also provides much more than food, and that’s I think the appeal of this diner. It does offer a bright, intimate. Welcome diner makes soul food with all-natural ingredients, the majority of which are locally grown. They do bar-B-Q fried chicken, burgers, apple pie, and Dirty Dave.
In summer, you can only beat the heat of Phoenix if you join some pool parties, which are often held in Phoenix. Here are lots of pool clubs, where drinks flow freely, and DJs play music. So must check this one of my favorite things in my list of cool things to do in Phoenix.
In the heart of the sunny Arizona desert, you can experience a paradise like no other. Butterfly Wonderland is the largest Butterfly Conservatory in the United States, and it lets you get up close and personal with some of the fascinating species of butterflies found around the world. The facility is dedicated to the research and conservation of the world’s butterfly species as well as precious rain-forest ecosystems. Their efforts support Butterfly farmers in their native lands when sustainable farms work to regenerate and preserve the natural butterfly populations in the wild all around the world. Butterfly Wonderland is home to more than three thousand butterflies. Where you can roam the tropical indoor garden and see them flutter around you. It is a very opportunistic photo-op if you’re a nature lover or if you want to have somewhere more unique features on your social media profile for your friends to see. In addition to the butterflies are also exhibits that feature important insects and restraint species too, from creepy crawly insects to rain-forest reptiles and fish and other aquatic creatures on display. There’s even a vending machine packed full of different flavored bugs that you can purchase to eat.
Charlie DV is the owner and proprietor of stateside presents, and when he came here to Phoenix, he went into a local music club at the time and really wasn’t feeling very welcome. So from that point on, it was kind of his goal to create great concert events and great places where everybody feels welcome. The crescent ballroom was kind of a culmination of his vision. It’s a 550 cat ballroom with a beautiful lounge, and they host a variety of music and different entertainment here in downtown Phoenix. But the lounge area is very wide open. It’s very comfortable, well lit, great music always playing out here. The ballroom is very versatile. They have bleachers which you never see at concert venues anymore. Through an extraordinarily diverse calendar of artists, they bring in the best regional, and national touring acts here’s a Phoenix. It gives musicians a lot of pride in what they do. I think that it overall has stepped up the professionalism a great deal. It’s kind of been a really cool cementing of the music scene in the music community here in Phoenix as well as helped to put out into the light into the spotlight a lot of bands that perhaps wouldn’t have had a chance to shine otherwise aside from the concerts. They have comedy shows, variety shows, different themes, DJ knives, the food here is also a really great aspect of the club, the menu was created by Christian Co, and everything is made in-house.
The Sugar Bowl ice cream parlor in a restaurant in old town Scottsdale combines 50s flair with delicious fare to transport diners to another era, the cotton candy pink. The restaurant has been a Scottsdale staple since nineteen fifty-eight for almost 60 years. Arizonans have delighted in the decadent ice cream sundaes and classic diner dishes. The Sugar Bowl has to offer juicy hamburgers cooked to order, and hot gooey patty melts are only some of the entree options available at the Sugar Bowl. Make sure to save room for dessert needless to say the ice cream sundaes are creamy cold perfection, but the real sweet treat the restaurant was prominently featured in Bill Kane’s Family Circus cartoons.
